← AZ HAVASU CREEK THE MOUTH NEAR SUPAI AZ Triple Blaze →

Description

Incredible views (an understatement) and great facilities with only 10% of the people at the South Rim! The drive into the park on highway 67 is worth the trip alone - high alpine meadows dotted with aspen and spruce trees and tons of wildlife. Trails are well marked and many start at the visitors center. Pick up the free map and guide at the entrance to the park ($25 per vehicle). Hiking trails include the Widforss trail, North Kaibab trail, and the Ken Patrick trail, among others.

Directions

30 miles south of Jacobs Lake, AZ on highway 67.
